Lee Hui Yin, born in 1993 in Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia. She completed her Bachelor Degree in Performing Art in University of Malaya in the year of 2016. She was majoring in piano under the tutelage of Dr. Kim Bo Kyung and now learning classical vocal under the tutelage of Mak Chi Hoe.
After completing her bachelor degree, Hui Yin does not stop learning. She obtained her Trinity Piano Diploma certificate (ATCL) in 2016. She has also completed The Australian Kodàly Certificate in Music Education -Primary Level III in the year of 2018. She has also joined many workshops such as Dalcroze worshop(2016), Music and Movement workshop with Lucinda Geoghegan, Kodàly Method in Piano Teaching with Dr. Gilbert De Greeve (2017).
As a chorister, Hui Yin joined the Malaysian Institute of Arts Ladies Chorus in 2014 and travelled to Vietnam for choir competition in 2014 and 2016. She has performed with the choir in various performances, locally and also in Beijing, Hainan, and also Seol, Korea. She is also the member of Young KL Singers, a in-house choir of Young Choral Academy, and performed in many performances.
As a choir conductor, Hui Yin has brought the Harmonix Youth Choir to Malaysia Choral Eisteddfod International Choral Festival (Gold Prize) in 2018, and Voyage of Songs Choir Competition in Bangkok, Thailand and won the silver prize in 2019.
Currently, Hui Yin is a private piano teacher, choir conductor of SJK(C) Chung Hua, SJK(C) Choong Wen, SMK Damansara Jaya, Taylors International School, and Kuala Lumpur Children’s Choir Intermediate Level. She is also learning conducting under the tutelage of Susanna Saw and Mak Chi Hoe.
